Relive the Highlights of “Prague Meets Algiers” & “Discover Prague Film School” — 2025 Edition

From April 24 to 27, 2025, FVI organized a major cinematic event in Algiers, held under the high patronage and in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Arts, the Presidency of the Republic's Mission Officer, the Representative of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Algiers, along with numerous cultural and academic figures.

The professional gathering Discover Prague Film School offered Algerian audiences an exclusive introduction to one of Europe’s leading film schools, featuring presentations, screenings, and insightful exchanges with professors from Prague. The hands-on workshops Prague Meets Algiers brought together young cinema enthusiasts for an intensive training experience, blending creativity, technical skills, and intercultural dialogue.

A key highlight of the event was the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Prague Film School and the National Higher Institute of Cinema (INSC) in Koléa, paving the way for a new era of academic and artistic cooperation between Algeria and the Czech Republic.
